The MHA is providing COVID-19 signage for hotels to display at their properties.
Manitoba Tourism Education Council “Clean it Right” Training for Hotels
In response to the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the Manitoba Tourism Education Council (MTEC) will launch a new program – “Clean it Right Training for the Tourism, Hospitality and Retail Industry” - on June 1, 2020.
Clean it Right (CIL) is an on-line training program designed to provide awareness and education about proper cleanliness.
The program will be delivered in 3 distinct modules. The first module will be for hotels, motels and bed & breakfasts.
The CIL program will be FREE for tourism, hospitality and retail businesses until June 1, 2021.

While hotels are currently permitted to operate some parts of their business, we recognize that some have made the difficult decision to close down entirely at this time.
